Day 1: Tbilisi
Arrival in Tbilisi. Transfer to your hotel. Check-in at 14:00 and free day in Tbilisi.
Day 2: Tbilisi – Telavi – Gremi – Khareba winery
After breakfast at 09:00 meet your guide and depart towards the Kakheti, the Eastern part of Georgia famous for its viticulture and winemaking traditions. Beautiful road to Kakheti lies through Gombori pass. Our first stop will be in Telavi, the administrative and historic center of the region. Have a short walk in the old Telavi and have a photo stop at the monument to King Erekle II and the oldest tree of the country, which is almost 800 years old.
Drive to Gremi, gloomy and monumental architectural complex of 16th century that used to be the royal residence and the capital of Kakheti Kingdom. Our next stop will be in ‘Khareba’ winery – an unique wine cellar located in the tunnel carved out of the rock.

We will then reach our overnight point for tonight.
Free morning till 12:00. Then we will continue exploring Kakheti by visiting Sighnaghi City of Love, one of the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, which is surrounded by defensive walls with 23 towers. Continue to Bodbe Convent – according to legend, this is a burial place of St. Nino, who converted Georgia to Christianity in the 4th century.
We will reach Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, in the evening at about 18:00–19:00.

Day 4: Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel and a morning sightseeing tour around cities most picturesque sights. Metekhi Сhurch and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Breathtaking panoramic views of the city from Narikala Fortress walls. Walk through the district of sulphur bath and narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, and souvenir shops. We will visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre’s clock tower and will shoot some photos on the Bridge of Peace.

Day 5: Tbilisi – Jvari – Ananuri – Kazbegi – Gudauri
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and road to mountains!
Today you’ll explore the fascinating landscapes of the North of Georgia. On the way, we’ll do some stops:
Jvari Monastery – a true architectural masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, which is picturesquely perched above the joint of the Aragvi and Mtkvari Rivers.
Ananuri Complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes, dating back to the 16-17th centuries and beautifully overlooking Zhinvali Reservoir.
A short stop at the Soviet-era “People’s Friendship” mountain with a view-point over a deep gorge of the Caucasus Mountains.
In Kazbegi, we’ll switch to a four-wheel drive vehicle to reach Gergeti Holy Trinity Church (located at an altitude of 2,170 m) and enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Kazbegi.
Drive back to Gudauri ski-resort for an overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Gudauri – Gori – Uplistsikhe – Mtskheta – Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Stalin’s hometown – Gori, where we’ll visit the Stalin Museum, the tiny house where the famous dictator was born, and an impressive bulletproof train he used to travel to Yalta and Potsdam.
Cave town of Uplistsikhe, which dates back to the Hellenistic Period and is notable for its unique combination of various styles of rock-cut architecture, including both pagan and Christian. Continue to Mtskheta, one of the oldest towns in Georgia and the country’s cultural and religious center. Visit Svetitskhoveli, the main cathedral of Mtskheta and a sacred place where the robe of Christ is kept.
Reach Tbilisi in the evening.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
Check-out from the hotel at noon.
Free time until transfer to Tbilisi International Airport. End of the tour.
