The long journey through Georgia

Day 1
Arrival to Tbilisi, transfer and hotel accommodation, some rest after the flight. Later on 3-hour excursion: Cathedral Sameba, Cathedral Metekhi. Going up by cable lift to old town to fortress “Narikala”. Visiting Bridge of Peace, temple Sioni. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast in a hotel. Departure to the eastern part of Georgia – Kakheti – the wine regiona.
On the way, stop at the fortress Udzharma, Old and New Shuamta. Arrival to Telavi. Visit to Monastery Alaverdi, monastery Ikalto, medieval castle Gremy and Napareuli. Overnight in the guesthouse in Telavi, where the hostess will serve us delicious Kakhetian dishes and home-made Georgian wine. Here you may enjoy beauties of Alazani Valley.

Day 3
Breakfast in a hotel. Visiting Kakheti market, palace of Duke Alexander Chavchavadze in Tsinandali. Departure to Gurjaani. Visit to the monument “Father of Soldier”, church Kvelatsminda. Here in Gurdjaani we will enjoy refreshments with drinks from the local wine cellar. Dinner in Gurdjaani with tasting of traditional Kakheti wine and chacha. Next stop is Sighnaghi – the city of love. Sightseeing tour. Visit to nunnery “Bodbe”. Free time. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 4
Breakfast in a hotel. Departure to Kazbegi, high-mountain region of Georgia.
The first stop in Mtskheta. Visit to Cathedral “Svetitskhoveli”. Go up to the monastery Dzhvari. Lunch in a restaurant on the way (additional fee). After lunch, continue the journey to the fortress and monastery Ananuri. Then departure to Stepatsminda, famous for its location in the beautiful mountains of Greater Caucasus. Arrival to Kazbegi. Overnight in a hotel or guest house.

Day 5
Breakfast in a hotel. Visit to the ancient Gergety Trinity Church and Sno castle. In Pshavi we will visit house-museum of the famous poet and writer Vazha Pshavela. Visiting Lake Bazaleti. Dinner and overnight in the guest house.
Day 6
Breakfast in a hotel. Departure to Borjomi. Visit to famous park “Kharagauli” where you will taste Borjomi directly from the spring of healing water.
Accommodation in the hotel. Relaxing day for our body. Overnight in Borjomi.

Day 7
Breakfast in a hotel. Visit to fortress Atskuri and museum in Akhaltsikhe.
Next stop is legendary cave city Vardziya. Visit to church of Assumption. Arrival to Akhaltsikhe, visit to Rabat fortress. Dinner and overnight in guest house in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 8
Breakfast in a hotel. Departure to the high-mountain region Racha in western Georgia. Visit to the old churches Nikortsminda and Barakoni. Dinner and overnight in Ambrolauri.

Day 9
Breakfast in a hotel. Departure to Kutaisi. Here we will visit Cathedral Bagrati, monastery Motsameta, Sataplia cave. Delicious dinner with home-made wine. Overnight in guest house in Kutaisi.
Day 10
Breakfast in a hotel. Departure to Adjara.
The first thing we will visit on the way to the beauties of Adjara is Botanical Garden. Arrival to Batumi. Visit to Square of Argonauts with statue of Medea. Later on departure to Sarpi. On the way back we will stop in Gonio – Apsar Fortress.
In the evening we will go to see laser show and Batumi giant metal sculpture of love. Free time. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 11
Breakfast in a hotel. Visit to administrative center Zugdidi – heart of Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti. City tour in Zugdidi.
Here we will see a lot of interesting things: death masks of Napoleon, museum Dadiani, church, botanical garden of Dadian. Departure to high-mountain village Mestia. Dinner and overnight in local guest house.
Day 12
Breakfast in a hotel. Visit to the ethnographic museum and house-museum of the famous Georgian climber Mikhail Hergiani. Thereafter, departure to Ushguli village. On the way to Ugviris gorge you will see mountain peaks of Tetnuldi and Ushba. Lunch in Ushguli. After lunch, visit to Ushguli ethnographic museum and ancient church Lamaria. Return to Mestia. Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse.

Day 13
Breakfast in a hotel. Return to Tbilisi. Transfer to the airport. Completion of service and happy return home.
